My Niece Junia (and this weekend’s happenings)
March 16, 2013 § 2 Comments

As promised, here are some photos of my beautiful niece. I took these when she was just eight days old. What a sweetheart? I just love her so much! But as for me, this weekend has been fun and productive so far. Yesterday, I went to lunch and then went shopping with my best friend. It’s always great catching up with her, since she lives on campus in Columbus. We had a great time hanging out. Last night, I enjoyed a relaxing evening with my fiancĂ©. He bought me a dozen yellow roses and made us dinner. How romantic? We spent the rest of the evening watching Netflix and cuddling. Perfect! Today, I went shopping with my brother and bought a new cell phone. I’m finally out of the stone ages. I have unlimited texts and calls. What freedom? After returning home, I applied to a bunch of places in hopes that I will land my dream job! I also watched my niece today. Other than that, I’ve just been catching up on some important things I needed to get done this weekend. The rest of my weekend shall be quite relaxing and enjoyable. I hope all of you have a nice weekend too!

While I love blogging, I know that my life is very hectic. And it will only get more hectic this fall, with my senior year of college starting. I will also still be working, and I will be working for two magazines on campus. With all of that on my plate, I know that blogging will be put on the back burner. I guess what I’m trying to say is that from now on my blog posts will be much fewer. Sorry to disappoint those of you who read my blog religiously (if there is anyone who reads it immediately). But I want to say thank you to everyone who has encouraged me along the way, and thank you to those who have checked out my blog!
Reflecting On The Good Old Days

(my dad on his mom’s lap and the rest of his family)
As promised, here are some photos I took with my new lens! The focus is amazing!!! But this past weekend was crazy. My parents got new bedroom furniture, so I got their old furniture (which I’m not super excited about). I spent the weekend rearranging my room, working on homework and spending time with family. While moving the furniture from my parents room to my room, my mother and I came across some old photos and momentos in his drawers. I couldn’t help but laugh at some of the cards my siblings and I made for him! My sister wrote multiple cards that said my dad should bake a cake (actually it said bak a cake, but you get the picture). Anyways, enjoy!
