Sorry this post is a little later than usual, but I’ve been super busy. Yesterday I went to promenade at my old high school. My best friend’s younger sister is a junior so this was her first prom. Promenade is an event for any couples who are going to prom. The couples get their names announced as they walk together through the gym. Basically, this is for the parents, relatives, friends, etc. to get pictures of all the prom-goers in their fancy clothes. It was fun. It made me miss those days!

After that, I went back to my friend’s house and we hung out. She gave me my birthday present, which I can’t wait to read! Some other friends came over, and we played Scattegories. I had to be up early this morning for my brother’s graduation. He graduated college today, and I couldn’t be prouder! I’m just relaxing now until my cousin’s 10th birthday party. This is the first of many birthday parties in May! I’m going to go enjoy some cake and have a good time with family!

Light At The End Of The Tunnel

There really is light at the end of the tunnel. My final week of class is finally here. And lucky me, I only have three days this week. My Tuesday/Thursday classes finished today, so that means I only have one more day of class of my junior year. I still have finals next week, but I only have two so I’m not stressed. I’m really excited for the summer. I will finally have some free time. Of course, I will still be busy because I don’t like just sitting around all the time. I have plans for different projects so I will still be busy, and I hope to get a job since the whole finding an internship thing isn’t panning out for this summer. I really hope to shoot more this summer, and I want to see my photography grow. I also plan to make designs so that I don’t get rusty. And I found this cool site (www.MagCloud.com) that lets you make your own magazine. I’m going to use it to make a photo book. I hope it turns out as amazing as I’d like it to. Well, that’s all for now. (Tomorrow I’ll be posting the much anticipated bridal shower post!)

Sticker Shock!

Kent State track

Well my spring break was going great until I got an email about my financial aid for my senior year of college. It looks like I’ll be taking out a loan equivalent to the loan debt I’m already in. How fun?! Not! I really thought senior year was going to be cheaper, but tuition went up among other things. Also, I made more money last year so that didn’t help me out in the financial aid department. My parents made more money too, so they’re expected to give me money. But that’s not real life. I have to pay my own college bills. Oh and my brother is done with college this year so that makes it so I have to pay more since I’m the only one in the household in college. Ugh! I can’t wait to be done with college and have it all paid off. I hate debt!

Where Am I?
