It’s The Little Things

I’m a sucker for the little things. I always notice the little details, and I love when people go the extra mile to add an extra touch. I was surprised when my fiance showed up the other day dressed so nicely just for me. He usually dresses more casually, and I don’t blame him for that. (Who wants to be all dressed up just to sit in class all day?) But he showed up in my favorite sweater and his fancy glasses, and I was so happy. I’m always happy when he puts forth extra effort for me. Also in line with the idea of the little things, my birthday is coming up and I am looking forward to all the little surprises the day might bring. Last year’s birthday was an emotional day for me. Everything just kept going wrong because I expected too much. This year, I just want a fun day with some little gifts. A whole day spent relaxing and having fun with my fiance is what I’m really looking forward to .
