This Saturday Six is a bit different from the past ones. I decided to feature some of my favorite products I used throughout the week. If you have split ends or damaged hair, go buy the TRESemme Split Remedy Serum. It’s amazing! And if your nail polish always chips, I recommend the Insta-Dri top coat by Sally Hansen.
Well it’s finally the weekend, but I will not be relaxing much. I have two big projects to work on this weekend. They’re both exciting projects, but they are going to be time-consuming. I am making a blog magazine proposal and a “perfect engagement” infographic. And on top of that, I still need to finish a diagram all about diamonds for my one class. I just wish I could catch up on some sleep this weekend. But instead I will be busy working on these exciting projects.

Here lately, I have been mixing perfumes together to come up with new scents for spring. Since I don’t have enough money to go buy new perfumes, this is a great alternative. I got the idea from my sister. She thought she hadn’t put perfume on yet, so she put on some perfume. Immediately after spraying it, she realized that she had already put perfume. Luckily for her, the two scents complemented each other well. That got me thinking about mixing some of my perfumes.
So far, I have tried mixing together White Citrus body spray (from Bath & Body Works) and Wink, Wink fragrance mist (from Victoria’s Secret) and a couple other combinations. I love the way these two smells mix together. It smells so soft and yet still full of oomph…if that makes any sense to you. I’ve also tried Wink, Wink with Abercrombie’s 8 perfume. It smells divine together. And I’ve also paired White Citrus with Abercrombie’s 8 perfume. Also a great choice. Those are all the creations I’ve tried so far. Don’t worry, I’ll try more and keep you updated! Side note: this really makes me want to create my own perfume!

Yesterday, I finally got my stuff from Bath & Body Works in the mail. I had ordered a bunch of stuff online for gifts, but I got some free stuff that I kept for myself. I kept three hand sanitizers which smell amazing, and I kept a free lip gloss. Awesome! And while my sister was on a weekend getaway, she got me something: rub-on lotion. It smells amazing and came with that cute little plate.
Anyways, I’m still waiting to hear back from all of my internships so that’s kinda nerve-racking. I have a business and media internship/job fair that I’m going to tomorrow. I’m already nervous, so let’s hope it goes well. In other news, I am trying to finish up school projects so I can relax the rest of the semester. But I doubt they’ll be any relaxing. The end of the semester is always rough. But at least I’m able to de-stress more than I used to. I’ll make it through!

Yesterday in my Magazine Publishing class, my professor gave back our magazine analyses and handed out the guidelines for the next big project. For the next project, I will be coming up with a proposal for a magazine. The only thing is that I need to “create” a magazine that is completely different from any other magazine out there. Who would read a new magazine that is exactly like one that is already out there? Anyways, I want to “make” a magazine about blogging since I absolutely love it! I went to the store to check out my competition and found Artful Blogging. Although I am in love with this magazine already, I want to “make” a better one.
But looking through this magazine, my experience blogging and reading other blogs has really shown me the beauty in life. I love seeing inspiring photos, and I love showing others my work. I love to read other people’s stories and share mine along the way. I just want to say thanks to all the followers I have. Whether I know you or not, I appreciate that you take the time to read my blog! And for friends and family who don’t have blogs, you can always follow mine by clicking the link on the right side of my page. (It will send you an update to your email every time I update my blog.) Anyways, thanks everyone for your support!
