Beauty Products and Magazines

I started blogging for Lovelyish.com on Thursday, and I absolutely love it. I’ve been writing a lot about fashion, beauty and celebrities. I feel so in-the-know now. I am so busy, but I’ve been staying on top of everything. I wrote a post about my favorite products, and I made this design for it.
I guess I’ll explain a little more. I love L’oreal Everstrong Reconstruct shampoo and conditioner because it makes my hair super soft. I use Aloe Protective Restoring Mask almost everyday on my hands. It works so great. It’s for your face, but I use it on my whole body. I also love Abercrombie and Fitch’s 8 perfume. It smells delightful! And I’ve been using Nivea’s Touch of Happiness body wash. It smells great and hydrates my skin. Another favorite product of mine is L’oreal’s Magic Perfecting Base Primer. It makes my skin silky smooth. A final product I love if Maybelline’s SuperStay 24-hour lipcolor. It stays on all day and gives my lips the color they need.
I wrote another article about the top five fashion and beauty magazines. I was surprised to find that Elle and Harper’s Bazaar weren’t on the list. Cosmopolitan ranked one, with Glamour coming in second. Third on the list was Redbook. Fourth and fifth were InStyle and Vogue, respectively. I was pretty surprised Vogue was fifth. Anyways, I still love reading my fashion and beauty magazines every month.
What beauty products do you use? What are your favorite magazines?
Make Time to Relax

So, I’ve started writing for my one internship and I think I’m going to like it. The workload is not too bad, so I know I’ll be able to handle it. I feel like I know how to manage my time much better now that I know I don’t have any time to waste.
And my internships have made me become more aware about fashion and beauty, which is great. Mainly because I feel like I’ve been lacking in those departments lately. I absolutely love the fact that I have four magazine subscriptions. It gives me something to read all the time.
Anyways, it’s been snowing today and it makes me just wanna relax. I want cuddle up under the blankets with my fiance and a magazine. That would be absolutely perfect, especially if you add some hot cocoa!
What do you like to do to relax?
And the Craziness Begins…

This weekend was crazy busy! I finished up my 1,500 word magazine analysis on Better Homes and Gardens, I went wedding shopping twice with my mom, I went shopping for some fun spa-like products, and I did all my other necessary homework, etc.
Oh, and I started an internship! That is one of two, that I will be doing from now until May/June-ish. I have a feeling I will be completely overwhelmed… but in a good way, I hope. This internship doesn’t seem like it will be too difficult. Let’s hope not! Wish me luck!
Did you guys enjoy your weekend?
Let’s Talk Internships

So today (technically yesterday) was a fantastic day. I started off the day by applying for internships. Then, I started setting up for a photo shoot. Ok, my mom helped me set up, but still it was hard work. Then, little Savanah showed up with her mom and dad. It was a fun photo shoot, and it was nice seeing her mom, my friend and former co-worker, again.
Once they left, I started editing all the photos and decided to check my email. I received two acceptance emails for internships! Yay! That was the best feeling ever. But here’s the bad news. Neither internship works for school credit. Even though they don’t work for credit, I think I still might do both of them. It will give me experience and something nice to put on my resume. Plus, the one internship has the possibility for compensation!
Anyways, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend. Would you do both internships for no money and no credit, just experience?
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for good things

Life has been pretty hectic the last couple of days. I talked to a manager for an internship, and I just completed the final part of the application process. I had to make a blog with three sample posts of what I’ll be covering if I get the internship. You can find my sample posts here.
I have also been trying to keep up with all my homework because I’m determined to get a 4.0 this semester.
Anyways, I’m really hoping that this internship will work for school credit. It would be awesome to have that stress out of the way. If it doesn’t work, I’ll still do it if I get it. It would look great on a resume regardless.
I’m just hoping for a nice, relaxing, stress free weekend. Only two classes tomorrow, and then it’s the weekend!
